U Team SL Supports Pujehun District Students’ Association (PuDSA) With Football Kits
On January 9 2022, the U Team SL formally donated brown new jersey to the Pujehun District Students’ Association (PuDSA) as a way of promoting students’ program in Pujehun district, thereby using soccer to enhance peace, unity and development among young people in the district.
U Team SL Donates Football Kits To Wanjama Stars FC And Makpele Warriors FC
The United Team Sierra Leone formerly known as United Team of Pujehun District (UN Team) staged a well-attended conference on March 9th and 10th, 2024, at the Galiness Hotel, Bo, Southern Sierra Leone, with the Theme “Sustainable Transformation And Development For All.”
The U Team SL handed over full sets of football jerseys to Wnajama Stars FC and Makpele Warriors FC as part of their commitment to promote football activity among young people in the Pujehun district.
The donation of the jersey to the two district division teams symbolized the UN Team’s readiness to lead transformative and development initiatives in the district.
Being an apolitical organization aims to foster a development agenda in the district with fairness, honesty, trustworthiness, and value for progress; the donation also sought to reposition the UN Team for success in the new millennium.
In a statement responding to the rationale behind the formation of the UN Team, the Head of the UN Secretariat Mohamed B. Kallon informed the gathering and beneficiaries that the UN Team is a registered Non-governmental organization that operates based on core values, principles, and commitment to, dedication to, and fulfillment of the development agenda for all.
Rational For The Donation Of Football Kits To Young People
The rationale for providing jerseys to Wanjama Stars FC and Makpele Warriors FC is a roadmap to address and uncover the importance of championing development initiatives in Pujehun district.
The donation symbolizes the U Team SL’s mission and vision, with a view to injecting a new sense of development visibility across Pujehun District.
Underscoring the relevance of the donation, the jersey support to the two giant football clubs in the district will bring motivation to the two teams, encouraging them to work hard and qualify for the highest football competition in the country, with the hope that there is full assurance of support from the U Team SL.
Representatives of both Wanjama Stars FC and Makpele Warriors received the donation on behalf of their teams and expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the UN Team for providing them with full sets of football jerseys.
They both assured the U Team SL of maintaining a standard and oneness in the football game, creating awareness about the gesture, maintaining the sprite of peace, unity and development, and promoting and protecting the purpose of the U Team SL’s donation in the interest of all and sundry.
