Young Women Leading Change Innovation Challenge
After a marvellous participation in the Young Women Leading Change Innovation Challenge, U Team SL emerged as one of the beneficiary organizations and was awarded a grant by UNFPA and MOYA on November 21 2024.
With this collaborative and partnership support; specifically, our vision is to help reduce teenage pregnancy in Pujehun District, through by creating missive awareness on the negatives effect, and advocate for an enabling environment for all Teenage Girls in the district.
The Grand Launching ceremony which was elegantly accomplished by His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio at Aberdeen, Kallon Drive, Freetown, saw the awarding of grant to youth-led organizations across the country.
The outcome of this grant will augment the U Team SL with possible power to strengthen our efforts and commitments in addressing the vicious circle surrounding Girl Child development in Pujehun district.
