United Team Sierra Leone – U Team SL’s mission featured strategic stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and regional development collaboration across the Mano River Union and ECOWAS sub-region

The United Team Sierra Leone (U Team SL) delegation has returned to Sierra Leone after a productive four-day diplomatic mission to Monrovia, Liberia.

The delegation, led by Watta Koroma, held meetings with several high-profile individuals and institutions, including the Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador for Sierra Leone Embassy, Monrovia, Liberia, ECOWAS Head of Delegation/Liberia Parliament, the Secretary General of the Roberts Flight Information Region (RFIR), the ECOWAS Resident Representative, Monrovia, Liberia, the Country Representative/ Coordinator, Mano River Union (MRU), paid a visit to the former Vice President, and met with the Minister Designate of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Liberia.

The visit aimed to strengthen regional cooperation and partnership with institutions and individuals in the sub-region. The delegation’s meetings focused on enhancing collaboration and promoting regional development.

U Team SL expressed gratitude to the people and government of Liberia for their warm hospitality and support during their visit. The delegation looks forward to continued partnership and cooperation with their Liberian counterparts.

The successful mission underscores U Team SL’s commitment to building relationships and fostering cooperation in the sub-region, in line with their motto “We Are Stronger Together”.
