The power of volunteerism in driving better improvement for Sierra Leone influence today’s youth fast-paced commitment and effort by constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency, enhance quality, and deliver effective and efficient national service through a sustained youth structure.
There is an evidence based situation amongst citizens of Sierra Leone that the current situation in the country is not only poor but becoming increasingly costly. The idea of the U Team SL symbolizes the aspiration and desire of our effort and commitment to address the major issues related to influencing sustainable development and transformation.
This formation also showcases seven established U Team SL Committees, charged with the responsibilities and mandates to run the day-to-day affairs of the Organization. Budget allocation from the Trust Fund was done to each committee based on area of priority. The U Team SL Committee On: Research, Peace and Development with the slogan “Development 4 All” is responsible for the management and implementation of all activities as defined by the General Assembly of the Organization. Recognizing the importance of the aforementioned committee and sector, the Committee is committed to volunteer to manage the day-to-day activity of organization’s development initiatives, as a way of addressing the perennial problems in the area of Research, Peace and Development across the country.
The U Team SL Committee On: Gender, Children, Advocacy & Legal Affairs with the slogan “Protection 4 All” is responsible for the management and implementation of all activities as defined by its mandate at the General Assembly of the U Team SL. Recognizing the importance of the aforementioned committee and sector, the Committee is committed to volunteer to manage the day-to-day activity of organization’s development initiatives, as a way of addressing the perennial problems in the area of Gender, Children, Advocacy And Legal Affairs across the country.
